There's a simple truth in Christianity. We were made for God. We were created for loving communion with Him!

So much of my spiritual growth was stunted in my early Christian life because I thought my relationship with God began with me. I was focused on the practical things I could do to be closer to God.
In that place, I became hyper-critical. I was always measuring myself against a standard I could not maintain. The more I thought of myself, the more I ran into my weakness.
In fact, the more I focused on myself, the more I failed. The more I failed, the more I felt ashamed. The more I felt ashamed, the more I performed religiously.
But I want to say this. Intimacy does not begin with us. It begins with God. He has invited us into the love of the Trinity; the eternal relationship of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
About this Course
Intimacy with the Father is a six-week course designed to bring you into a deeper knowledge of the Father. It will explore the Father’s personality as revealed in the Scriptures and what it means to be adopted into His family as precious sons and daughters.
Allen will give weekly meditation tips and exercises he has learned over the past 25 years, so that you can take what you're learning about God to God in prayer and find your heart expanding and drawing near.
