Do you ever feel like you're failing in your relationships with your children or your parents?
The truth is that family is messy, and it's hard. It is also one of the number one things that is under assault by the Evil One. The good news is that the Lord has given us a pathway forward for breakthrough. In Malachi 4:5-6, God promised that He would "turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers" before the coming of the Lord.
While I have heard many prayers and sermons based around this promise in Malachi 4:5-6, I have heard little to no teachings on how to practically walk this out within our homes. This is what is needed more than anything!
This is my heart behind launching "Restoring the Family." After decades as a pastor and a father myself, I want to give parents practical tips—grounded in biblical wisdom and personal experience—on how to turn our hearts to our children. Then in the second half of the course, my oldest son Samuel will give instruction to children on how to turn their hearts to their parts.
Our hope is to help parents and children alike in navigating the complexities of family life, especially during the teenage and young adult years. In the the end, our heart is not only to see restoration within the home, but also to help equip parents and children to build rich, long-lasting friendships within the grace of God!
